2007 was one wild ride for Daughtry fans! If this past year is any indication of what's in store for Daughtry and their fans, it's going to be one exciting year. The Daughtry tour has ended, the year ended with Daughtry on top of the AMAs and Billboard's charts, and nominated for 4 Grammys. Not to mention TRIPLE PLATINUM in one short year. Unofficial wishes Daughtry and all of you a happy, healthy, and prosperous New Year!

Yes we do. Click the little messenger pigeon on the home page to send Daughtry eCards to your friends. I'll be adding more as I make them. (Which means check the week of a holiday). Yes, there's a Daughtry New Year card coming. Sit tight.

For those that tuned in, hope you enjoyed the show. Heather held it together with strep throat to field questions from the board. I handled the conference line coordination so we had a way to get him to you, AND of course our UNofficial MC rocked it out as usual! It was our pleasure to host the UNofficial Daughtry Anniversary Party, and you can bet your panties (the ones you didn't throw at Joey) that we'll all be watching tomorrow to see what he wears to the stage when Daughtry accepts the awards. (Hopefully a clean sweep).

I have recorded the broadcast and we will be announcing a rebroadcast soon. If you missed it, you'll still have an opportunity to listen in. You can bet that once Joey has a CD ready, we'll be playing the hell out of it.

Daughtry UNofficial will be celebrating the Anniversary of Daughtry's triple platinum release with an internet broadcast!

We will launch at 8PM EST on Saturday 11/17. This is the night before Daughtry performs on the AMA awards. (Provided we don't get kicked out of the time slot... stay tuned.)

Metal Chik will be our MC, and we'll be featuring pre-Daughtry tunes as well as Daughtry tunes and covers.

Hopefully we'll have a special surprise as well. You know if we do something, we do it big.... no promises, but we are working behind the scenes to make this something special. The chatroom will be open, as well as a thread in the forums. Links to the broadcast stream will be posted here, the forums, and you're welcome to repost as soon as they're up.

You may have noticed the section to the right of the home page (also available from the modules menu). Daughtry UNofficial is now able to assemble a video collection for the viewing pleasure (and hopefully convenience) of our members. You can watch, rate, forward, and comment on videos all in one place.

Have a video you don't see here? Members can submit videos to the collection as well! (Don't worry about preview pics, those will be added when your video is approved). Simply click "submit video", copy the Url, enter a title and description and select video format from the drop down. (If you're unsure of the size just leave the default in there).

As always UNofficial is focused on being convenient and interactive. Suggestions and input is welcomed, encouraged, and appreciated. It's YOUR site.... we just keep it running.
